Home-Grown Art

I’m not a “fine artist,” but I love to create artwork by combining a little ingenuity with crafts, canvas, and found objects. This is a fun, inexpensive way to create a home environment with lots of visual interest.

I love giving an existing product a new look or completely different use. For example, sheet metal is bent and painted in order to appear fabric-like, store mannequins become works of art with the help of colorful paper and glue. Gold and silver leaf can transform a piece of cardboard and a plastic mold into a glowing moon.
